HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Nationally and internationally, HHA Services' has given a gift from the heart. We are passionate about volunteering for Habitat and join in their vision of making this "a world where everyone has a decent place to live."
Locally
On multiple occasions through the years, HHA team members have built new homes, repaired, painted and re-dedicated homes to selected families through the Habitat for Humanity organization. Volunteering brings a sense of worth and gratification just knowing we've helped provide to those in need. It is humbling to serve by giving our time and a pair of helping hands.
Globally
Paul Fayad and a small team from HHA Services have traveled with Habitat for Humanity multiple times to Szarvas, Hungary with the purpose of building homes for the poor with Habitat for Humanity's Global Village program. It is a tremendous experience traveling to other countries representing Habitat for Humanity, USA. HHA feels that we are not just in the country to build homes; we are there to show the Hungarians how to set- up and fund charities and how to use new technologies in their construction.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. We build with people in need regardless of race or religion. We welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds. As of today, Habitat has helped build over 500,000 decent, affordable houses and served more than 2 million people around the world.
